The minimum session duration is 30 minutes. You can book in 30-minute increments after that.
Yes — if a buddy is available, we'll do our best to accommodate you. That said, booking early is always better. Last-minute requests may result in a different buddy being allocated, and in some cases we may not be able to confirm availability in time.
Booking ahead = better buddy allocation. We recommend booking at least 30 minutes before your session.

If your session runs beyond the booked duration, additional time is charged at the applicable per-hour rate. To avoid this, simply book your next session in advance. There are no hidden charges — you only pay what is shown on the rate card.

Safety & Trust
Yes — 100%. All buddies are verified and trained before they assist any customer. You will be informed of your buddy's name before they arrive.
Your buddy carries your shopping bags — but your cash, cards, and jewellery stay with you at all times, just as they would with any trusted friend. Since customers handle all money directly, there is no financial risk involved with your buddy.
Cancellations
Yes, you can cancel anytime — just message us on WhatsApp as early as possible.
The earlier you cancel, the better. Once a buddy is allocated to you, last-minute cancellations leave them waiting with no session. Cancelling early lets us reassign your buddy to another customer — reducing wait time for everyone. It's a small act that goes a long way.
Since customers handle all payments directly, refund situations are very rare.
Coverage
ShopyBuddy currently operates exclusively within T Nagar, Chennai — covering Pondy Bazaar, Panagal Park, and surrounding shopping areas. Bookings outside this area cannot be accepted at this time.
